Prevent and respond to emergencies. Enforce rules and regulations of the Aquatic Center. Responsibilities Is aware of proper equipment usage and operation including safety precautions and ensures that participants follow such usage and operation. Provides information about the Aquatic Center facility and Fitness Center services. Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the Aquatic Center. Obtains CPR certification and re-certifies every two years. Reports all safety hazards, accidents and guest/patient incidents promptly and according to policy/procedure. Makes sure slides are working properly. Checks pool chemicals when required. Qualifications Shallow water lifeguard certification required. Shallow water lifeguard certification available.
