Program Coordinator for the Family Friendly Center

Job Description: Program Coordinator must supervise the Family Friendly Center

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain systems of all required grant documentation - quarterly and annual grant reports, contract documents, attendance, academic reports.
• Document program data on State data reporting website Cityspan.
• Design and implement pre- and post-assessment reports for documentation of program effectiveness.
• Ensure that students and staff are equipped with appropriate materials and students are benefitting from the learning activities.
• Communicate with administrators with regard to the general needs of the program.
• Communicate with parents about program events, policy, and individual concerns.
• Monitor attendance and late-pick ups.
• Work with administrative assistants to create supply orders for program needs.
• Plan and deliver presentations to administration about student achievement throughout the program.
• Attend budget update meetings and assist in creating budget programs with administrators.
• Liaise with the district business office and vendors.
• Maintain accurate records of all budget line items.
• Provides supervision of the program in the absence of school administration.
• Supervision of the morning program

Qualifications:

• Possess a love of children and ability to support instructors in implementing high quality afterschool programming.
• Possess excellent communication, organizational, and technological skills.
• Must be creative and able to work independently and interdependently.
• Available to direct student-centered presentations in family evening events sponsored by the program.
• Must have a proven track-record of excellent attendance.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours to accommodate schedules to family needs.
• Previous experience coordinating Family Friendly Center programs is highly desired.

Working Conditions: Jackson Avenue Elementary School Monday - Friday 7:20 AM - 8:20 AM; Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 3:05 PM - 4:05 PM; not to exceed 224 hours

Salary: As per the HBOE/HEA Agreement, $57.85 per hour

Selection Procedure: Applications will be reviewed and interviews conducted, followed by recommendations made to the Acting Superintendent for Board approval.
