Unit Bio: The Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides care for patients who have undergone a myriad of critical surgical procedures such as Vascular, Gastrointestinal, Liver, Renal, Renal Pancreas Transplantation, Orthopedics, Plastics, Otolaryngology, Urology, Thoracic, Surgical Oncology, Oral Maxillo-Facial, Obstetrics, and Gynelogical Surgery.

Summary: The Certified Nursing Assistant Acute Care role assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: Relevant experience preferred.
