Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

An outpatient healthcare organization is seeking a Primary Care NP/Physician for a locum assignment in Portsmouth, NH. This role provides primary care services in a clinic setting with a steady weekday schedule and clinical support onsite.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day shift
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Hours: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM or 6:00 PM
• Setting: Outpatient clinic

Responsibilities:

• Provide primary care services to adult patients in an outpatient setting
• Manage a daily patient volume of approximately 18 to 20 patients
• Deliver comprehensive evaluations, assessments, and follow-up care
• Collaborate with MA and RN support to ensure smooth patient flow
• Document patient encounters and care plans in Athena

Qualifications:

• Active licensure or eligibility to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician
• Experience providing primary care in an outpatient clinical setting

Desired Skills:

• Experience using Athena
• Comfort working in a team-based clinical environment
• Ability to manage a steady patient schedule efficiently
