Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Market Development Specialist to expand clinical adoption of Precision Diagnostics solutions by identifying growth opportunities, engaging healthcare providers, and driving utilization across priority markets. The role combines strategic account development with direct provider engagement to influence testing adoption and build sustainable partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize healthcare providers and markets for targeted commercial growth using data analysis
- Engage healthcare providers in-person and virtually to communicate diagnostic testing value and influence adoption
- Drive provider ordering behavior changes and expand testing utilization within targeted practices and health systems
- Manage defined accounts and opportunities through conversion, adoption, and sustained utilization phases
- Develop partnerships with reference laboratory sales teams and collaborate across Thermo Fisher business units
Requirements
- Proven commercial strategy and market development experience in healthcare or diagnostics
- Strong ability to build relationships and communicate clinical value to healthcare providers
- Experience with data-driven decision making using analytics platforms and CRM systems
- Demonstrated success managing accounts and driving adoption or utilization metrics
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across organizational and external partnerships
