Some Key Responsibilities will include:Collect laboratory specimens from patients and healthy donors to support clinical care and research initiatives.-Perform phlebotomy procedures, including venipuncture, butterfly, and microsampling techniques, at the patient bedside or in approved Roswell -Park outpatient locations.Ensure accurate patient identification, registration, and proper handling of laboratory orders within Hospital and Laboratory Information Systems.Process and label specimens in accordance with established protocols to maintain quality, accuracy, and patient safety.Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and infection control guidelines during specimen collection and handling.Starting hourly rate is $18.33Qualifications:Required Education and Experience1. Associate’s degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in performing phlebotomy and collection techniques; or2. High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and successful completion of an approved Phlebotomy certificate program.3.
