We are committed to creating an environment in which our employees can thrive, succeed, and enhance their careers.Job DescriptionConduct thorough and detailed training on a range of different topics with guard forceSelect and conduct appropriate training methods or activities (e.g. real life scenarios and simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, orientation classes)Keep accurate records and logs of all training conductedConduct organization-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressedUse experience and knowledge and stay up-to-date on new training methods and techniquesAssess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skillsGather feedback from Training Manager and your trainees after each educational sessionPartner with Client and liaise with your leaders to accomplish any last minute requirementsMaintain updated curriculum database and training recordsManage and maintain local IC training office and equipmentResearch and recommend new training methods when neededBe prepared to help with post coverages when the need arisesBe available to work differing hours and shifts based on client/officer needsQualificationsCommunicate effectively in the English language, both verbally, in writing, and over various communications systemsAbility to greet and deal tactfully with everyone on siteExercise of good judgment, courage, alertness, an even temperament, and ability to render satisfactory performance through knowledge of his/her position responsibilitiesAbility to maintain poise and self-control during situations that involve mental stress; such as fire emergencies, explosions, civil disturbances, and building evacuationsCapability of understanding and applying written and verbal orders, rules, and regulationsAbility to interpret printed rules and regulations, detailed written orders, training instructions and materials from the Training ManagerBe able to meet all applicable licensing, registration and certification requirements in the state in which the officer's assigned facility is locatedPrepare and submit training reports that are legible, accurate and completeInter-Con is passionate about hiring veterans.
