LPN Opportunities AvailableThis is in the City of Okeechobee in Okeechobee County.Full time and PRN positions available - day and night shift/12h.Signing bonus of $7,500.00 to be paid out incrementally at $1,875.00 every 90 days. (Full time only).Duties:Responsible for the overall care for the residents on their assigned unit.Walking rounds with off going nurse to receive updates on each residentReceive, transcribe, and initiate orders from physicians.Administer medications and complete any treatment orders as ordered by physiciansEnsure all medications are ordered through the Pharmacy in a timely mannerCollaborate with the MDS/Care Plan Team to develop and maintain up to date plan of care for residentsComplete required documentation in the resident's chartResponsible to contact Physician and family for any change of condition with residentWalking round with physicians when they are in the buildingSupervise Certified Nursing Assistants on the unitEnsure tasks are complete prior to the end of shiftWalking rounds with oncoming nurse to give update on resident statusOther requirements:Clear/Active Florida License or Compact LicensePass a Level II Background CheckMust be able to pass a drug screen and be medically clearedEffective May 28, 2026Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening in accordance with state regulations.
