Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities Actively engage with production teams to support engineering needs. Part Fit-Up & Assembly Support: Support part fit-up activities, ensuring proper alignment, tolerances, and assembly of components. Identify and resolve fit-up issues, escalating to engineering when necessary. Technical Assistance: Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Support prototype builds, testing, and validation activities. Provide feedback to engineers on manufacturability and process improvements. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of shop activities, test results, and equipment usage. Assist in updating work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Report issues and suggest corrective actions to engineering and quality teams. Work closely with engineers, technicians, and production staff to resolve technical challenges. Participate in cross-functional meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
