Plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate all phases of patient care. Provide patient and family education and support transitions of care. Delegate patient care according to patient acuity, staff competency, experience, and available resources. Support quality improvement initiatives and demonstrate nursing leadership. Maintain excellent communication and critical-thinking skills. Qualifications & Requirements Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program accredited by ACEN, CCNE, or NLN CNEA . Current Registered Nurse (RN) license meeting applicable state requirements. BSN preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Computer proficiency; experience with electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) systems preferred. Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments as required. Basic Life Support (BLS) competency required for Arizona positions. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 90 days of hire. Additional state licensure, specialty certification, or clinical training may be required depending on the work area. Education requirements for associate-degree RNs: Mayo Clinic requires applicable associate-degree RNs to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within the specified timeframe based on their RN start date.
