What You'll Do
- Provide expert nursing care to labor and delivery patients, adhering to hospital policies and standards.
- Assess patients' conditions and implement appropriate care plans.
- Educate patients and families about procedures, treatments, and postpartum care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation in patient records.
- Support a respectful and culturally sensitive environment.
- Manage resources effectively, delegate tasks, and serve as a team leader in the unit.
What You Need
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- 2+ years of relevant experience in Labor & Delivery
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and CPI certifications (CPI within last 12 months)
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
