Quality Control Laboratory Intern
$21.5 - $28.75 per hourThermo Fisher Scientific
Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an undergraduate intern for a 10-week quality control laboratory position in Plainville, Massachusetts. The role involves routine lab support, QC testing under supervision, documentation, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives, with potential for full-time placement consideration.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory support activities and manage assigned equipment
- Execute quality control testing and complete cGMP documentation under supervision
- Support standard operating procedure revisions and assist with data review
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects with strategic business impact
Requirements
- Undergraduate student pursuing Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, analytical chemistry, or related field
- Graduating between December 2027 and June 2028
- 1+ years prior related internship or work experience
- Demonstrated leadership experience in student organizations, athletics, or community service
- Legally authorized to work in United States; no visa sponsorship required
- Geographic mobility and ability to work onsite in Massachusetts
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
Compensation: $21.50–$28.75 hourly; $5,000 relocation stipend if eligible
