POSITION SUMMARY
This role supports The Department in providing general surgical care across inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include performing a broad range of general surgery procedures, participating in shared call, and contributing to clinical services at multiple hospital sites. The position offers collaboration with an established surgical team and opportunities to incorporate minimally invasive surgery and endoscopy.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Board eligible or board certified in Surgery
• Residency training in surgery
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Texas
• Ability to perform general surgical procedures, including minimally invasive techniques
• Capacity to participate in shared call responsibilities

COMPETENCIES
• Management of general surgical cases across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Performance of operative and endoscopic procedures
• Collaboration with surgeons and clinical support teams
• Participation in structured call rotation
• Use of modern diagnostic and operative tools
