Registered Dental Hygienist – Winston-Salem, NC

Location: Winston-Salem, NC

Position Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Approximately 32–40 hours per week | Monday–Friday

Compensation

• $45–$50/hour , based on experience
• Annualized Base Compensation: Approximately $74,880–$104,000/year , depending on hourly rate and weekly hours
• Competitive bonus system providing additional earning potential

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join an established dental practice in the Winston-Salem area.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal hygiene care
• Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and other preventive procedures
• Conduct periodontal assessments and oral cancer screenings
• Take diagnostic radiographs as clinically indicated
• Educate patients regarding oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive care
• Review and update patient medical and dental histories
• Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation
• Collaborate closely with doctors and clinical team members to provide comprehensive patient care
• Follow appropriate infection control and clinical safety standards
• Contribute to a positive, supportive, and collaborative practice environment

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina Dental Hygienist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong patient communication and education skills
• Patient-centered approach to clinical care
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a clinical team
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
