Monday - Friday - 1st Shift (Day)

Maintenance Technician I

The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for maintaining machinery to ensure safety and productivity. This role supports product safety, quality, and legality while performing mechanical maintenance tasks in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
Primary Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain machinery in the co-pack area.
• Maintain machinery in accordance with the Preventative Maintenance Program.
• Ensure the work area complies with current safety standards.
• Understand and assist in the Equipment Validation Process.
• Use eMaint for troubleshooting and documenting repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager and Co-Pack Supervisors.

Preferred Skills:

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network systems, including IP addressing schemes, subnetting, and device connectivity.
• Maintain and support industrial network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, and Ethernet/IP networks).
• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues to ensure minimal downtime in operations.
• Troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems.
• Integrate PLC-controlled equipment with network systems for data communication and process control.
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and operations teams to optimize system performance and reliability.

Education / Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 02 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment, or equivalent vocational education and experience.
• Exceptional problem-solving and maintenance skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service driven.
• Strong team player.
