The posted compensation range of $38.43 - $68.92 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Join our team as a House Supervisor. The House Supervisor is responsible for coordination and direction of safe and efficient patient care and throughput in the hospital by providing a communication link with ED, patient registration, LIPs and nursing units. As a House Supervisor you will:

• Serve as clinical resource person in delivery and supervision of direct and indirect care processes.
• Provide competent leadership and direction for all hospital Codes and emergency management.
• Act as agent for department and hospital executives when they are not present and reports concerns and events to the designated administrator on call.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

• Two years clinical RN experience required
• 1-year clinical leadership experience, preferred
• BSN required within 2 years of hire
• MSN preferred
• RN License to practice in Colorado or Kansas as applicable
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
• PALS or ENPC required upon hire or within three months of hire/transfer

Physical Requirements-Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Penrose - St. Francis Health Services is a full-service, 712-bed acute care provider in Colorado Springs comprising Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Hospital and St. Francis Hospital - Interquest. Penrose Hospital serves as the anchor hospital of Penrose-St. Francis Health Services with 300-licensed beds and the ability to provide tertiary (high tech) medical-surgical services with an emphasis on elective and outpatient care. Established in 1890, Penrose Hospital has grown to become a major health treatment and referral center, specializing in cancer care, cardiac care, emergency trauma care and physical rehabilitation.
