Regional Human Resources Manager

Reporting to: Director, HR & Payroll Operations Scope: Americas region – less than 200 employees in the region Compensation: this position can begin at USD 110,000 The Company The company is a global technology organisation with a strong industrial heritage, operating at the intersection of Connected Home, broadband connectivity and smart environments . The company continues to evolve through operational transformation initiatives, harmonisation of HR processes and selective acquisitions, requiring strong regional HR leadership close to the business. The Role As Regional HR Manager – Americas , you will act as the primary People Partner for the region , supporting a population of fewer than 200 employees . The role combines strategic HR partnership with hands‑on operational responsibility , requiring close proximity to leaders, teams and day‑to‑day HR matters. Partnering closely with the Director of HR & Payroll Operations and global HR leadership, you will advise leaders on organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, employee engagement and performance management, while ensuring strong ownership of employee relations, compliance, payroll oversight, recruitment and regional training initiatives . Key Responsibilities HR Business Partnership & Strategy Execution Act as a trusted HR advisor to Americas leadership on organisational design, leadership effectiveness, workforce planning and team engagement Contribute to and execute regional HR strategy in alignment with global People priorities and the company’s transformation roadmap Support change initiatives related to organisational evolution, process harmonisation and integration activities Employee Relations, Compliance & Risk Management Own employee relations matters across the Americas, ensuring consistent, compliant and pragmatic case management for a lean regional population Ensure full compliance with federal, state and local employment laws ; proactively monitor regulatory changes and adapt HR practices accordingly Oversee HR documentation, contracts, policies, investigations and record‑keeping with audit‑ready rigor Partner with Legal and external counsel as needed on sensitive or complex cases Payroll Oversight & HR Operations Supervise payroll execution and regulatory obligations for the region in close coordination with HR Operations and Finance Ensure compliance with mandatory training, reporting and employment requirements Act as a regional escalation point for payroll‑related issues affecting employees and leaders Talent Acquisition & Workforce Support Maintain hands‑on involvement in critical recruitments , including direct sourcing for key and hard‑to‑fill roles Partner with Talent Acquisition and business leaders to ensure timely, high‑quality hiring aligned with business needs Support workforce planning and succession considerations at regional level Regional Training & Capability Development Own and coordinate regional training initiatives in alignment with global learning and development priorities Ensure deployment of mandatory and regulatory training programs across the Americas Support leadership and people‑manager capability through targeted development actions, working closely with global HR and Learning teams Regional Coordination & Team Leadership Lead, coach and develop the US‑based HR team, ensuring strong execution, responsiveness and consistency of practices Coordinate HR activities across the Americas, acting as the interface between regional stakeholders and global HR teams Promote adoption of global HR tools and systems (including Workday) and support continuous process improvement Stakeholder Management Interface regularly with senior executives, regional leadership teams, Finance, Legal and external partners Represent the Americas region within global HR forums and cross‑functional initiatives Experience & Technical Skills Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience , with strong exposure to the US employment environment Proven background in employee relations, payroll oversight and HR compliance Experience operating in international, multi‑country and matrixed organisations , including small‑to‑mid‑size regional populations Solid understanding of recruitment and direct sourcing practices Demonstrated people management experience Exposure to HRIS and global HR transformations (Workday experience is a strong plus) Leadership & Personal Attributes Credible, confident and pragmatic HR partner Agile, solution‑oriented and comfortable operating with lean teams and broad scope Strong communication and stakeholder management skills High level of autonomy, ownership and reactivity Languages Spanish is a plus What the Company Offers Competitive compensation: USD 110,000+ High‑impact role with full ownership of the Americas HR scope Opportunity to shape HR practices and people development within a global, transformation‑driven organisation #J-18808-Ljbffr
