Speech Language Pathologist

Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply! TactStaff EDU is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a collaborative school district in Illinois for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact while supporting students across a K–12 caseload in a school‑based setting. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals. Provide direct speech‑language therapy services in individual, small‑group, and classroom settings. Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning. Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and Medicaid billing (if applicable). Utilize evidence‑based practices to support students' communication and academic achievement. Comply with all district, state, and federal special education regulations. Qualifications Master's Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program. Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech‑Language Pathologist endorsement. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply. Previous school‑based experience is preferred but not required.
