Live-in Caregiver

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team. The Caregiver will provide assistance to individuals in their daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well‑being. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide companionship and emotional support. Help with meal preparation and medication reminders. Perform light housekeeping tasks. Escort clients to appointments and run errands. Monitor and report changes in client’s health status. Implement behavior management techniques when necessary. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing/dressing, feeding, toileting, medication reminders, walking, exercise assistance, and light housekeeping. Provide personal laundry, cooking, shopping, and companionship services. Qualifications At least 1 year of experience in assisted living or senior care environments. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations. Proficiency in caregiving techniques and meal preparation for special dietary needs. Ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively. Background in childcare, social work, or related fields. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Valid ID and Social Security Card. Valid driver’s license (preferred). Ability to commute or relocate to the northern/western suburbs of Chicago.
