Experienced Automotive Service Technician

Capital Chevrolet GMC of Lexington is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will diagnose, maintain, and repair Chevrolet, GMC, and pre-owned vehicles while delivering an exceptional customer experience. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well with a team, and is committed to continuous learning and professional growth. The ideal candidate will be an experienced A or B-Level Technician with strong diagnostic and repair abilities. Attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship is vital. Automotive Service Technician Compensation and Benefits: Competitive Pay Health Insurance PTO 401(K) Automotive Service Technician Responsibilities: Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership. Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs. Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications. Other duties assigned Automotive Service Technician Requirements: Previous experience as an auto technician preferred Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance Fast, eager learner and team player Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong customer service skills Computer skills and willingness to learn new problems Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment Clean driving record & valid driver’s license Must pass pre-employment background screenings Why Capital?
