Opportunity:


Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist


Job Details:


• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Previous travel experience required
• Minimum 3+ years experience with pediatrics experience required, NICU experience preferred
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float to all patient care areas of the hospital including ED and general care areas
• May be required to float to other Central Aspirus locations with advance notice
• Provide emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue situations
• Perform basic respiratory care, critical care, ventilator management, and patient assessment with Assess and Treat Protocols
• Care for patients of all age groups
• Work with V60 BIPAP, HAMILTON G5 and C1 ventilators, ISTAT equipment
• Document in Epic electronic health record system
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA or ARC), NBRC RRT or CRT (RRT must be obtained within one year), Advanced NRP preferred
• Active Wisconsin license required
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Dress code: closed-toe shoes, scrubs any color, clean appearance, no smoking or scent allowed
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours with possible on-call placement
