Medical Technologist (MT)

Role: Medical Technologist responsible for performing a wide range of laboratory procedures in Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Microbiology, and Transfusion Medicine to support patient care. Key Responsibilities Rotate through trained laboratory areas, performing complex tests and recognizing deviations. Maintain laboratory equipment, calibrate analyzers, and perform preventive maintenance. Document quality control, quality assurance, and corrective actions using sound statistical principles. Enter, verify, and analyze laboratory results, communicating critical findings affecting patient care. Perform troubleshooting and repair of laboratory analyzers as needed. Adhere to safety and documentation standards, ensuring optimal laboratory operations. Qualifications & Skills Accredited bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science, biology, chemistry, or related field, with completion of an accredited clinical practice program, OR relevant coursework and clinical experience. Two years of post-certification clinical laboratory experience, with at least one year within the last three years. Knowledge of laboratory medicine techniques, quality control, and troubleshooting. Ability to operate and maintain laboratory equipment, interpret results, and follow scientific principles. Physical ability to perform laboratory tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods. Additional: No sponsorship available.
