Senior Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $85,000 to $100,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
• Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Assist in the coordination and preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation during financial audits and reviews.
• Prepare departmental monthly cash spend and conduct variance analysis to identify trends.
• Assist in the development of departmental budgets and forecasts, including expense tracking and cash flow analysis to support strategic planning and decision making.
• Maintain fixed asset records, including capitalization, deprecation, and disposal.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 3-5 years of accounting experience preferred.
• CPA Preferred
• Proficient with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office (Excel)

Experience:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of tax requirements and GAAP
• Ability to work well in a dynamic, results oriented and cross-functional team
