Programmer Analyst

Job Summary:

The Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure and scalable software solutions primarily using .NET and MVC technologies. This role involves working within Agile environments to translate technical requirements into functional applications, focusing on data confidentiality, client privacy, and user interface responsiveness. The analyst will also contribute to identity management solutions and support multilingual software development. Responsibilities:

• Design and develop secure applications ensuring data confidentiality and client privacy.
• Translate user stories and solution architectures into technical requirements and functional code.
• Write scripts and stored procedures using MS SQL Server.
• Develop and maintain REST-based APIs.
• Implement responsive user interface designs using Javascript, jQuery, HTML/CSS, and front-end frameworks.
• Conduct code reviews and adhere to coding guidelines and best practices.
• Work within Agile development teams to deliver software solutions.
• Develop and support identity management solutions.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for pipelines and development environments.
• Develop multilingual software systems as required.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum 8 years programming and design experience in .NET and MVC.
• At least 1 year programming and design experience with Identity Management solutions.
• Minimum 4 years experience writing scripts and stored procedures using MS SQL Server.
• Experience designing secure applications addressing data confidentiality and client privacy (4 years).
• Experience working in Agile development environments (4 years).
• Experience with Javascript, jQuery, HTML/CSS, and user interface design (5 years).
• Experience with UI responsive design and front-end frameworks (5 years).
• Experience developing REST-based APIs (5 years).
• Experience with code review and coding best practices (5 years).

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience working with user interface design systems (1 year).
• Experience working with Azure DevOps pipelines and development environments (2 years).
• Experience working within the Canadian Public Sector as a Programmer/Analyst (2 years).
• Experience developing multilingual software systems (2 years).
