Toxic Tort Associate/Attorney/Senior Counsel

Position: Toxic Tort Associate, Attorney, or Senior Counsel (Los Angeles, Oakland, Remote) Husch Blackwell LLP is a national law firm with multiple locations across the United States, dedicated to our clients and the industries they serve. We have an immediate opening in our Los Angeles and Oakland offices, as well as our virtual office, The Link, for a Toxic Tort Associate, Attorney, or Senior Counsel with a minimum of three years of experience preferred. Candidates should have an active California bar license. The candidate will work primarily with attorneys in our Complex Torts business unit. The ideal candidate will have experience with and the ability to work independently through all phases of civil litigation in toxic tort spaces, including, but not limited to, experience conducting factual investigations and discovery, preparing pleadings, taking depositions, engaging in discovery, and substantive motion practice specific to California state and federal courts. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the community, superior interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position in California is $180,000 to $300,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salaries in all other markets will vary depending on market data. Associates are eligible for an Associate Performance Bonus and Client Development Bonus.
