SU - Tax Accountant

Tax AccountantThis is a full-time remote role for a Tax Accountant at a growing U.S.-based company. The Tax Accountant will be responsible for helping us scale operations, with a strong preference for someone who is fluent in Chinese to better serve our expanding Chinese-speaking client base.QualificationsLanguage requirement: Proficiency in both English and Mandarin/Chinese is required and non-negotiableExperience: 3+ years of related experience1–3+ years of experience in US tax preparation (U.S. personal and business taxes) is requiredProficient in handling sales tax and payroll taxFluent in Chinese-Mandarin – verbal and written.Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (including Excel, Word, and Outlook)Highly detail-oriented, trustworthy, and organizedComfortable working independently in a remote environmentStrong communicator with excellent interpersonal skillsWilling and able to learn internal tools and adhere to our security protocolsResponsibilitiesPrepare and file personal and business tax returnsHandle sales tax and payroll tax filingsReview client-provided financial information and ensure accuracyCommunicate with clients regarding tax-related documents and deadlinesAssist in maintaining up-to-date client records and documentationBe available for extended hours during tax seasonCompensation: $ 1,500 - $ 2,500 per month, paid in USD depending on experience.Independent contractor agreement paid 2x monthly.Client has a desire for long-term commitment.
