Job Overview: The warehouse Supervisor plays a vital role within the LOTH warehouse team, oversees daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient receiving, storage, inventory control, and order fulfillment. This role is responsible for managing warehouse associates, enforcing safety standards, maintaining productivity, and ensuring high levels of accuracy and customer satisfaction. focusing on the efficient shipping and receiving of furniture and related products. This position also involves supporting other key areas of the warehouse, including inventory management and customer asset management. The associate will report directly to the Warehouse Manager of LOTH. Additionally, as needed, the associate may assist the delivery and installation department in the capacity of an installer or driver.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership
  • Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Assign tasks and monitor workflow to maintain productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Team Management
  • Train, coach, schedule, and evaluate warehouse associates.
  • Maintain a positive, safe, and accountable workplace culture.
  • Address performance issues and support employee development.
• Inventory & Equipment
  • Oversee cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and stock rotation.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, etc.).
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Safety & Compliance
  • Enforce OSHA, company safety policies, and proper PPE use.
  • Conduct safety training, audits, and incident reporting.
  • Maintain clean, organized, hazard-free warehouse areas.
• Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize layout or workflow.
  • Implement Lean practices where relevant (5S, standard work, waste reduction).
  • Partner with operations leadership on KPI tracking and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements:

- A High School Diploma or GED is required. - 25 years of warehouse or distribution experience; 12 years in a leadership role preferred. - Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory processes, and WMS/ERP systems. - Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. -Forklift certification (or ability to obtain) preferred. -Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Experience in the office furniture sector is an asset. - Familiarity with power tools is considered a beneficial skill. - Strong computer skills, including proficiency with email and warehouse management systems, are crucial. - Reliable transportation is necessary to maintain consistent attendance. - Candidates must possess the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions, while also knowing when to seek help. - A positive attitude and the ability to clearly communicate problems and resolutions to customers, contractors, and management are essential. - The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required. - The ability to lift and handle packages weighing up to 50 lbs. is required. - Personal integrity that aligns with the company's core values is vital.
