Overview
As a Retail Sales Associate, you’ll help customers choose gifts, apparel, and related products with confidence. You’ll combine friendly customer service with product knowledge, support sales across in-store and e-commerce channels, and keep the sales floor organized and inviting. Your impact: By helping customers find suitable gifts, you support successful baby shower, birthday and day to day gifting alongside a positive shopping experience.
Duties
- Welcome customers, answer questions, and provide clear product recommendations in person and by phone.
- Support retail sales, cashiering, point-of-sale (POS) transactions, and accurate cash handling.
- Maintain displays through merchandising, stocking, and cleaning as needed.
- Help customers choose gifts and put outfits together.
- Assist with retail floor design and e-commerce orders while keeping work areas organized.
Skills
- Essential: Customer service, communication skills, English proficiency, organizational skills, retail sales, sales, cashiering, cash handling, retail math, and familiarity with POS systems.
- Helpful: Knowledge of children, babies, fashion, gifting, party decorating, merchandising, stocking, e-commerce, and marketing.
- Phone communication skills are important; multilingual abilities are a plus.
