About the Position

Description

A healthcare facility in New York, NY is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) for a part-time locum opportunity in a Level IV NICU setting.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity neonatal environment , providing comprehensive care including delivery room coverage, admissions, and ongoing patient management through discharge .

The provider will collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team while utilizing Epic EMR to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care. This is a 13-week assignment with strong extension potential , making it an excellent opportunity for continuity and stability.

Responsibilities

• Perform neonatal admissions and daily patient management

• Provide care in a Level IV NICU setting

• Handle delivery room coverage and neonatal resuscitation

• Manage cases through discharge planning

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR

• Participate in clinical decision-making and patient care coordination

Certifications

• Relevant Neonatal Certifications (as applicable)

• Shift: Day Shift

• Schedule: 7:00 AM – 8:30 PM

Requirements

Requirements 

• Active New York State License – Required

• Strong proficiency in Epic EMR – Preferred
