Daily responsibilities include supervising nursing staff; coordinating staffing, scheduling, and float resources to meet census and acuity; driving patient flow and throughput with timely admissions, transfers, and discharges; rounding with interdisciplinary teams to align care plans; monitoring quality metrics (falls, CLABSI/CAUTI, readmissions, HCAHPS) and implementing continuous improvement; ensuring regulatory readiness and policy compliance; mentoring, coaching, and onboarding staff to elevate clinical competence and engagement; partnering with physicians, case management, and ancillary services to optimize outcomes; managing supplies and supporting budget stewardship; leveraging the EHR for documentation accuracy, audits, and analytics; addressing patient and family concerns to enhance experience; and leading safety huddles, incident reviews, and competency validations.What's Needed to Succeed:Degree from an accredited Nursing programLicensed as a Registered Nurse RN in the state of New Hampshire or ability to obtainProven leadership experience in an acute care settingEnjoy small-town living in scenic rural New Hampshire, where a friendly, walkable community meets affordable homes, four-season outdoor recreation, and easy regional access.
