Role Overview

As a Medical Assistant, you will support providers and clinical staff by assisting with patient care, administrative tasks, and coordination of daily office operations. You will play a key role in ensuring a positive patient experience and delivering high-quality, efficient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
• Obtain patient histories and vital information
• Perform routine lab procedures and prepare specimens for transport
• Follow up on test orders and communicate results to providers and patients
• Maintain and update patient electronic medical records (EMR)
• Provide patient education materials and support patient inquiries
• Maintain and clean medical equipment and order clinical supplies
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and CLIA regulations
• Support overall clinical workflow and patient care
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education – Required

• High School Diploma or GED

Certifications – Required

• Medical Assistant certification within 6 months of hire OR
• Active credential as EMT, NREMT, Paramedic, or LPN

Experience

• Preferred: 2 years of Medical Assistant experience
