Field Service Representative IThe Field Service Representative I is responsible for performing basic equipment installation and assisting with routine inspections and testing under supervision. They learn to identify simple issues and carry out standard repairs or adjustments, gradually building confidence in troubleshooting techniques.Minimum RequirementsEducation: High School Diploma or GED and successful completion of ICIAN FSR trainingExperience: Specialized Technical Training. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft and strong capability with general computer software tools required.Travel: 50%Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 6 am and 6 pm, Monday through Friday. Schedule may vary and can include, but is not limited to nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary.Key ResponsibilitiesAssists with small project execution under supervision (modernization, upgrades, etc.)Begins interpreting blueprints and service documentation with guidanceSupports basic electrical system auditsAccurately documents site information and prepares initial technical reportsCommunicates with customer coordinators as needed for clarityFollows safety procedures and maintains a clean job site, tools, and vehiclesProvides accurate time and expense records dailyProperly handles defective parts for return/disposalDelivers responsive customer service in support rolesGains exposure to serviceable equipment with supervisionPerforms routine inspections and basic testing using standard proceduresSupports troubleshooting efforts for common equipment faultsFollows documented guidelines for repairs and adjustmentsMaintains detailed service records and observes safety standardsLearns and follows company procedures for customer interactionPerforms other related duties as required and assigned.The job description and responsibilities described are intended to provide guidelines for job expectations and the employees' ability to perform the position described.
