Position Endocrinologist Physician Overview Join our team of experienced endocrinologists in a busy inpatient and outpatient practice with a variety of endocrine cases. You will have exposure to leading-edge technology, including a busy endocrine clinic and a telemedicine program. Scope of Practice Our endocrinology department manages a wide range of cases: Endocrinology in pregnancy – collaborative clinic with maternal fetal medicine Pediatric endocrinology Weight management, thyroid biopsy, wound care, nutrition, reproductive endocrinology, podiatry Busy endocrine testing lab with dedicated nurses Clinical Responsibilities Managed inpatient and outpatient endocrine services Performed procedures such as continuous glucose monitoring, thyroid ultrasound, and thyroid biopsies Participated in monthly Endocrinology Journal Club/Case Review Mentored residents, fellows, and medical students in clinical and QI research projects Collaborated in multidisciplinary Endocrine Tumor Board Experience & Benefits Favorable call schedule and benefits of working for the area’s largest employer Opportunity to work with fellows, residents, and medical students Eligibility for faculty appointment at the University of South Florida, LVHN’s academic affiliate In-office procedures including continuous glucose monitoring, thyroid ultrasound, and thyroid biopsies Dedicated endocrine testing unit and active outpatient diabetes teaching program Monthly Endocrinology Journal Club/Case Review Two pediatric endocrinologists on staff Opportunity to participate and mentor residents & fellows in clinical and QI research projects Participation in multidisciplinary Endocrine Tumor Board Benefits Starting bonus Resident and fellow educational stipends Malpractice insurance with tail coverage CME time and allowance Relocation (if applicable) Qualifications Must be board certified or board eligible Current PA medical license or ability to obtain one is required Equal Opportunity Employer Lehigh Valley Health Network is an equal opportunity employer.
