We're looking for Cashiers to join our team in Girdwood, Alaska.


What You'll Do


As a Cashier, you'll be an important part of the guest experience, providing friendly service while accurately processing purchases and helping guests with questions about the resort. You'll help keep transactions running smoothly while creating a welcoming experience for everyone you meet.


Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcome and connect with every guest.

• Sell food, beverages, and other items.

• Accurately process cash, checks, guest checks, and other transactions.

• Operate the cash register while following established cash-handling and control procedures.

• Reconcile cash and charges at the end of each shift.

• Answer general questions about Alyeska Resort.

• Provide friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced resort environment.

• Support the team with other duties as needed.

What We Need

• Must be 21 years of age or older.

• High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED), one to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to accurately handle cash and complete basic calculations.

• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, correspondence, and workplace information.

• Friendly communication skills and a guest-focused attitude.

• Must have or be able to obtain a Food Handler Card within the introductory period.

What to Expect

Work in a fast-paced, guest-facing resort environment.

Spend much of your shift standing and interacting with guests.

Frequently walk and occasionally reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch.

Occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Work as part of a team focused on creating a welcoming and efficient guest experience.
