- Previous experience working with students with behavioral and developmental needs, especially in a self-contained setting
- Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong skills in classroom management and positive behavioral interventions
- Ability to collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and other educators
- Commitment to fostering a safe, structured, and nurturing learning atmosphere
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading a classroom for students diagnosed with autism and other health impairments
- Providing tailored instruction adapted to each student's learning profile and behavioral needs
- Implementing and monitoring behavior intervention plans with fidelity
- Collecting and analyzing student data to inform instruction and IEP goals
- Collaborating with families, service providers, and school professionals
- Maintaining compliance with all state and federal special education regulations
This full-time contract runs through May 2027, requiring 35 hours per week. You’ll experience the fulfillment that comes from seeing your students progress every day, while advancing your own professional expertise in a supportive environment.
Step into a role where your dedication truly matters, and every day brings new opportunities to make a difference. If you’re passionate about transforming students’ lives and meet the qualifications, apply today to start your journey in special education.
