Occupational Therapist - OT (Per Diem)

Overview Occupational Therapist (OT/OTR) per‑day position available in the sub‑acute/skilled nursing rehab department in Poughkeepsie, NY. Weekday hours with some weekend work. Join additional PRN rosters as desired. Excellent, stable, and integrity‑driven team by therapists for therapists. Focus on ethical patient care. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub‑acute/skilled nursing facility setting. Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team‑working environment. Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation. Maintain accurate and timely documentation with attention to detail. Work well with others in a team setting and be flexible with hours. Qualifications Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license or license‑eligible to practice in the state of employment. Prior experience in a sub‑acute or skilled nursing facility setting. Experience with the geriatric population and improving their quality of life.
