Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Behavior Technicians to join our school-based team.

This full-time opportunity is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with children, have a passion for supporting students with behavioral and developmental needs, and want to make a lasting impact in the classroom.

Start Date: August 31
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM–4:15 PM

Responsibilities:

• Implement individual and classroom-based behavior support plans under the direction of supervising case managers and classroom teachers.
• Collect and record student behavior and intervention data accurately.
• Support students in participating safely and independently in classroom and school activities.
• Implement behavior intervention strategies, including crisis intervention techniques as trained, for students exhibiting challenging behaviors such as aggression, elopement, property destruction, and task avoidance.
• Communicate student progress, behavioral changes, and support needs with supervising case managers and educational staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation while following all Kelly Pediatric Therapy and school district policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, critical thinking, and effective time management.
• Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Kelly Pediatric Therapy and the partnering school district.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working or volunteering with children preferred, especially children with disabilities or behavioral needs.
• Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
• Ability to obtain all required state and federal background clearances, drug screening, physical examination, and district-specific requirements.
