Part-Time Male Caregiver (Mon–Fri, 20–25 Hours)

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and reliable Caregiver for a part-time position assisting a 68-year-old, incontinent, bedridden female patient. The ideal candidate will have a pleasant demeanor, strong physical stamina, and a patient-first attitude.

Schedule & Compensation

• Hours: 20–25 hours per week
• Days: Monday through Friday
• Shift: [11:00 AM – 4:00 PM]
• Pay: $18-25 per hour depending on qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Mobility & Transfers: Transfer the patient daily from bed to a transport chair, move her to the living room, and safely transfer her into a reclining chair. On days of medical appointments, safely transfer patient in/out of handicap van.
• Personal Care & Hygiene: Assist with daily towel baths, change soiled clothing/underwear, and manage incontinence care with dignity. On occasion, take patient into master bath in shower chair for shower or shampoo.
• Transportation: Safely drive the patient to medical appointments using the employer's provided handicap-accessible van.
• Meal Preparation: Prepare daily lunch for the patient.
• Household Support: Perform light housecleaning and empty cat litter boxes (must be comfortable around cats).

Job Requirements

• Experience: Previous caregiving experience is required.
• Physical Ability: Must be physically capable of performing heavy transfers and lifting a bedridden patient safely.
• Certification: CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification is highly preferred.
• Demeanor: Must be patient, gentle, and possess a warm, pleasant personality.
• Background Check: Must have a clean driving record and pass a background check.
