This role has a dual mandate: (1) analyze current procurement data to identify and resolve bottlenecks impacting PO cycle time, enabling immediate process improvements, and (2) design and implement the reporting architecture for Supply Chain that will support long-term performance optimization. This role will transform raw data into actionable intelligence that accelerates X-energy's supply chain performance.Job Profile Tasks/Responsibilities:Current State Analysis & Immediate ImpactConduct deep-dive analysis of existing procurement data to identify root causes of PO cycle time delaysMap current-state process flows and quantify time/cost impact of bottlenecks across the S2O lifecycleDevelop visibility dashboards and reports that enable operational teams to prioritize improvement actionsPartner with Procurement, AP, and business units to implement quick-win process changes based on data insightsTrack and measure the impact of interventions on key performance indicators (KPIs)Ariba Reporting Infrastructure & Data GovernanceDesign and build Ariba reporting framework, including standard reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecardsDefine data governance policies, including data quality standards, metadata definitions, and access controlsConfigure Ariba reporting modules and integrate with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)Establish baseline metrics and targets for post-go-live performance measurementCreate user documentation and training materials for self-service reportingContinuous Improvement & Strategic InsightsTransform Ariba transactional data and metadata into strategic insights (spend analytics, supplier performance, compliance trends)Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and risk mitigation through trend analysisDevelop predictive analytics capabilities to forecast procurement performance and supply chain risksLead regular business reviews with stakeholders to communicate insights and drive data-informed decisionsFoster a culture of continuous improvement through transparency, accountability, and data literacyCollaboration & Stakeholder ManagementPartner with IT, Procurement leadership, and business units to understand reporting requirementsTranslate business needs into technical specifications for reporting and analytics solutionsServe as subject matter expert on procurement metrics, benchmarking, and industry best practicesCollaborate with Ariba implementation team to ensure reporting requirements are incorporated into system designJob Profile Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related fieldTypically 5 years of experience in procurement analytics, supply chain analytics, or business intelligenceStrong proficiency in data modeling, data analysis , derivation of insights and visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL)Demonstrated ability to extract insights from complex datasets and communicate findings to non-technical audiencesKnowledge of data governance principles and best practicesStrong business acumen with ability to connect data insights to operational outcomesPreferred QualificationsExperience with SAP Ariba reporting and analytics modulesAdvanced degree (Master's) in Analytics, Data Science, Supply Chain, or related fieldProficiency in statistical analysis tools (R, Python) or advanced analytics techniquesExperience in manufacturing, construction, or project-based industriesFamiliarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and procurement system integrationsCertification in data analytics, business intelligence, or supply chain management (CSCP, CPSM)Experience with procure-to-pay (P2P) processes and procurement KPIs (cycle time, maverick spend, supplier performance, etc.)Experience with Claude codeLocation:9801 Washingtonian Blvd, Gaithersburg, MDWork Schedule: 4 days per week onsiteTravel Expectation: 5-10%Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm, Mon-FriCompensationAs required by Maryland and other applicable state law, X Energy, LLC (X-energy) lists the expected compensation range for a publicly advertised job opportunity based upon the job requirements (e.g. education/training, experience, skill sets, etc.).
