Senior Helpers Richmond's culture is based on strong core values, recognition of achievements, and respect.ResponsibilitiesCompanionship: Engage in meaningful conversations and provide emotional support to seniors.Assistance with Daily Activities: Help with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.Medication Management: Assist clients with medication reminders and ensure they adhere to prescribed medication schedules.Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals based on dietary requirements and preferences.Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for the senior.Transportation: Assist with transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other essential outings.Monitoring Health: Observe and report any changes in the senior's health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals or family members.Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided and any significant changes in the client's condition.Caregiver Qualifications1 year of CNA/NA/PCA experience preferredWilling to accept new PCAs/CNAs and provide in-home care training.A valid driver's license, reliable transportation required - may need to drive clients in own vehicle. Will be reimbursed for mileageMust be willing to work in homes with pets.
