UNC Health Southeastern seeks a Cardiologist to join our dynamic community-based practice of General, Interventional & EP Cardiologists, Vascular and Thoracic Surgeons, and APPs, in Lumberton, North Carolina.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Highly competitive compensation and benefits package including signing bonus and relocation
• Clinic Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:0am – 5:00pm, Fri 8:00am – 1:00pm
• Hospital Consults: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, one week and weekend/month
• 1:4 Call, 5:00pm-8:00am, including one weekend/month
• Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship began in 2025
• Tests & Diagnosis: Cardiac Imaging, Echocardiogram, Cardiac Catheterization, Cath Lab, Radial Access, PET Scan, Stress Tests (exercise, dobutamine, nuclear and stress echo), EKG, Dedicated EP Lab, Ambulatory Cardiac Monitoring, ABI, Doppler Ultrasound 
• Heart Treatments: Cardioversion, Pacemaker and ICD Clinic, Angioplasty, Atherectomy, Heart Failure Clinic, Valvuloplasty, Valve Repair and Replacement, Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation
• Vascular Treatments: Bypass surgery for PAD, Endovascular therapy for PAD, Carotid Endarterectomy, EVAR, Vein Clinic
• CVICU and dedicated Cardiology Progressive Care Unit

There are more than 135 physicians on the active medical staff. 

REQUIREMENTS

• Unrestricted Licensed DO/MD in NC or eligible
• BC/BE in Cardiology
• Good communication skills
• Must meet criteria for medical staff credentials at UNC Health Southeastern
