Project Manager, Georgia State Office

The SPLC is seeking a Project Manager, Georgia State Office who is passionate about social justice! The Project Manager, Georgia State Office is responsible for day-to-day project management, executing effective project plans, and supporting the State Director and Associate Director with all office projects and initiatives. This role requires the person in this position to work within the state of Georgia 100% of the time. Who You Are Organized. Demonstrates an understanding of and a commitment to SPLC's mission, vision and values. What You'll Do Support State Director and Associate Director with all office projects and initiatives. Address requests and inquiries and resolves concerns in accordance with guidelines provided by the State Office Director and Associate Director. Organize , track, and coordinate outreach and external relation efforts with community members, stakeholders, and partners. Provide logistical support to organizers and working groups to assist with projects and initiatives. Develop reporting and meeting structure for project teams. Implement recurring inclusive and equitable processes; identifies and recommends process improvements. Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of project management experience; and High School Diploma or GED. Compensation & Benefits This is a non-exempt role, and the minimum starting salary is $69,702 ($33.51 per hour) annually. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Where & How You'll Work This role has the following work designation options: Regional Work: Requires that employees reside in and be physically present during work hours in a specific geographic region (during the employee’s local time). The region could be part of a city, an entire county, or several states depending on the role. The region for this position is the State of Georgia. This position will report to the Associate Director, Outreach. Other Special Considerations This job is performed under general office conditions and is not subject to any strenuous physical demands or dangerous conditions.
