Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 or 26 weeks) | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 or 48 hours per week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a NICU setting in accordance with facility protocols and standards of practice
• Utilize Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding methodology in patient care
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Epic
• Float within scope of practice to other units as operationally needed
• Adhere to scheduling requirements including weekend rotations and holiday coverage as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia (pending license accepted; must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification must be in hand at time of submission
• Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification required (may be submitted with certification pending)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a NICU setting
• Familiarity with neonatal specialty-specific clinical protocols
