CONTINUING EDUCATION – TAI CHI INSTRUCTOR

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Instructor provides professional, engaging and effective group classes. Provide instruction and coaching to class attendees. Coordinate and prepare music and class routine as necessary. Exercise safety awareness and practices. Follow and enforce department policies, rules and regulations while maintaining a friendly attitude. Strong communication skills to deliver course content. Ensure that the class attendees are satisfied with the lessons. Begin and end class on time. Accurately record class participation and collect participants' surveys at the end of each class.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent. Current nationally recognized Tai Chi Certification. One year teaching and/or training experience preferred. Must be able to work with participants individually and in groups, using various demonstration methods. Must be knowledgeable about the industry with the skills to network, engage and interact with participants. Must communicate professionally and have a positive attitude at all times.
