The Industrial Painter is responsible for preparing, priming, and applying protective coatings to structural steel components. This role ensures steel is properly finished for durability, safety, and appearance prior to delivery or installation. Duties include surface preparation through cleaning, sanding, blasting, and masking, as well as mixing and applying paints, primers, and specialty coatings according to specifications. The Industrial Painter performs quality inspections, maintains painting equipment, and follows all safety procedures to ensure a high-quality finished product.

- Temp-to-Hire position
- $18.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm )
Preparing, priming, and applying protective coatings to structural steel components. This role ensures steel is properly finished for durability, safety, and appearance prior to delivery or installation.
Industrial Painter Qualifications:
- Previous industrial painting, sandblasting, or coating application experience preferred
- Knowledge of surface preparation techniques, including cleaning, sanding, and masking
- Ability to safely operate spray painting equipment and related tools
- Understanding of paint, primer, and protective coating applications
- Ability to read and follow work orders, specifications, and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Comfortable working in manufacturing, shop, or outdoor environments
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
