Laboratory Assistant

Lab AssistantOur lab assistants support our instructors in running a safe and effective lab. We are currently looking for a lab assistant in the following program: Construction.Responsibilities:Assist students with practicing their skills and reaching competency.Assist with lab procedures and safety.Review projects and instructions with students in smaller groups as needed.Provide feedback on students to teachers, student services counselor, career counselor and administration as needed.Support the lab by organizing and moving supplies and/or equipment.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Certification and experience in the field of the program you are applying for.Paraprofessional educator endorsed or eligible to obtain Paraprofessional educator endorsement from helpful but not requiredSalary and Benefits:Hourly Rate: $30 / Hour Benefits NOT Included (Part-time role)Hours and Days (Flexible Options Based on Your Need):Follow TCD's schedule: Aug. 10, 2026 - May 20, 2027Option 1 Mon - Fri / 8:15am - 2:15pm (5.5 hours paid) - With a 30-Minute LunchOption 2 Mon - Fri / 8:00am - 10:30am (2.5 hours paid)Option 3 Mon - Fri / 12:00pm - 2:30pm (2.5 hours paid)* We are willing to hire two applicants if there is interest in a job share.Application Process:Please apply online.
