Job Description\n Patterns Hiring is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Lancaster, Ohio.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Labor and Delivery\n Discipline: RN\n Duration: 8 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Requirements:\n -Valid RN license to practice in the State of Ohio.\n -CPR required.\n -AHA BLS Certification required\n Shift:\n 12-Hour Night shift. Must be flexible, to work other shifts\n Job Description:\n - The registered nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individual patient care using the nursing process.\n - Accepts responsibility for direction of co-workers and delegation of role appropriate tasks in the implementation of care.\n - Performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance to the established FMC policies, procedures and guidelines.\n - Provides quality care based on assessment needs and established plan of care/pathway.\n - Provides education for the patient and family/significant other from admission through discharge process.\n - Provides thorough, concise, accurate and legible documentation of the nursing process/pathway.\n - Notifies physician of pertinent observations and changes in the status of the patient.\n - Administers medications and performs treatments in an accurate safe manner.\n -Implements physician orders as written.\n - Assures equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care, reporting malfunctions to proper department.\n Patterns Hiring Job ID #298970-0911.
