We combine proactive, 24/7 clinical care with technology that helps us reach patients earlier, identify risks sooner, and deliver personalized care throughout their journey. Our team includes clinicians, technologists, operators, and problem-solvers working together to make high-quality care more accessible for families nationwide.

We are expanding our network of Registered Dietitians to deliver expert, compassionate virtual care for individuals navigating perimenopause and menopause transitions. By joining Pomelo, you will have the autonomy to set your own schedule while being part of our multi-specialty care model. Unlike standalone nutrition platforms, our patients receive care from a dedicated medical provider, a registered dietitian, and a therapist. You will deliver a cohesive, holistic care model that drives superior patient experience and outcomes.

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for patients experiencing midlife and menopausal transitions.

• Collaborate within a multi-specialty care team—including the patient's dedicated medical provider and therapist—to ensure a cohesive, holistic care plan that drives superior patient outcomes.

• Partner with patients over a multi-week program format to facilitate sustainable lifestyle changes, manage symptoms, and enhance overall well-being.

• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, body composition changes, bone health, and gut health.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Uphold clinical, privacy, and compliance standards for all visits conducted through the Pomelo platform.

• National certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) with a license to practice in any US state.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling.

• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.

• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and electronic medical records (EMR).

• Strong clinical independence and exceptional communication skills, with a collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary care.

Experience or strong clinical interest in supporting patients with:

• Conditions of metabolic syndrome

• Weight loss and body composition changes

• Osteopenia/osteoporosis

• Gut health concerns, including bloating, IBS, and elimination diets

• Anti-inflammatory eating patterns

• Competitive Compensation: $60.00 per active visit hour, pay for no-shows, and caseload bonuses (up to $50/week)

• Onboarding Bonus: $250, paid after completing your first visit

• Multi-Specialty Collaboration: You won't practice in a silo; you'll work alongside dedicated medical providers and therapists to ensure patients receive comprehensive care.

• Evidence-Based Practice rooted in Women’s Health: We have zero financial ties to supplements or compounded drug sales, and you have the autonomy to determine the appropriate care cadence. Your clinical judgment remains independent and focused solely on patient outcomes, and you can deep dive into a specialized women’s health role.

• Focus on Care, Not Admin: We handle filling your schedule, credentialing, and billing, and we provide AI documentation tools to streamline your charting.

• Total Flexibility: You control your schedule. Choose the days and times you are available to accept patient visits.

• Clinical Community & Support: Optional provider forums and case consultations to support your professional growth.

• Free Continuing Education: Earn Continuing Professional Education Units (CPEUs) to maintain your CDR credentials at no cost through internal learning sessions.

This is a 1099 independent contractor role and is not an employment (W-2) position. As an independent contractor, you will not be eligible for employee benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, workers’ compensation, or unemployment benefits.
