RN Unit Manager

RN Unit Manager Salary: Up to $120,000 a year Responsibilities Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc., as necessary Day-to-day supervision of licensed and non-licensed staff, including counseling, disciplinary action, evaluations, one-to-one in-service, suspension/termination Maintain an ongoing quality assurance program for the nursing unit Develop methods for coordination of nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of the resident’s total regimen of care Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action Deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public Be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long‑term care Possess leadership and supervisory ability and work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel Requirements & Qualifications Current RN (Registered Nurse) license for the state of practice Preferred: 2 years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long‑term care facility, or other related health care facility Completion of post‑secondary education and ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions Capable of maintaining regular attendance as required Related experience at a level necessary to accomplish this position Ability to adjust to a flexible schedule, including evenings, nights, and weekend work hours Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance; Voluntary Benefits; 401k Plan An Equal Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr
