Nurse Practitioner Or Physician AssistantWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Urgent Care clinical settings, and possess the ability to provide high-quality patient care. As a NP/PA, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.ResponsibilitiesPerform complete, detailed, and accurate health histories, review patient records, develop comprehensive medical assessments, and order laboratory, radiological and diagnostic studies appropriate for complaint, race, sex, and physical condition of the patientFormulate medical and nursing diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals of patients to the appropriate health care facilities, agencies, and other resources of the community or physicianInstitute emergency measures and emergency treatment or appropriate stabilization measures in situations such as cardiac arrest, shock, hemorrhage, convulsions, poisoning, and allergic reactionsInterpret and analyze patient data to determine patient status, patient management and treatmentProvide instructions and guidance regarding health care and health care promotion to patients/family/ significant othersOther duties and responsibilities as assignedQualifications1-3 years experience managing patient encounters independently as a solo providerExcellent communicator with staff, patients, and familyProfessional appearance and attitudeANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified – (with 1 yr ER/UC experience preferred)Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate, as requiredDOT CertificationBenefitsColleague Referral Bonus ProgramPaid time offSick leaveMedical Malpractice Coverage401KSupport with professional growth & professional certificationCompensation: $75.00 - $90.00 per hour
